Brandon Victor Dixon is a Grammy Award-winning American actor, singer, and theatrical producer celebrated for his commanding stage presence and extraordinary versatility. In 2025, he won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album for his work in Hell’s Kitchen, and earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Davis in Alicia Keys’ hit Broadway show.
A three-time Tony nominee, Dixon is also a Tony-winning producer for Moulin Rouge! The Musical and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. His acclaimed performances include Aaron Burr in Hamilton, Judas Iscariot in NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live (earning an Emmy nomination), Harpo in The Color Purple, Berry Gordy Jr. in Motown The Musical, Eubie Blake in Shuffle Along, Haywood Patterson in The Scottsboro Boys, and Billy Flynn in Chicago.
Dixon is a graduate of Columbia University, where he received the I.A.L. Diamond Award for Achievement in the Arts, and he studied at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford. In addition to his stage work, Dixon has released original music, including the R&B-inspired pop single “Maybe,” showcasing his talent as both a songwriter and performer.
