This concert explores the music of Dr. Nina Simone, Lena Horne, Abbey Lincoln and Billie Holiday and their place in 20th & 21st Century American Music. This exciting evening of songs connected with these dynamic, iconic women includes “Can’t Help Lovin’ That Man,” “Throw It Away,” “Mississippi Goddam,” and “God Bless The Child.” Debuted in London in 2014 and received a rare five star review in The Times (UK), which called her “a true force of nature.”
