Cabaret 313 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing world-class cabaret to Detroit, enhancing the city’s cultural fabric, and fostering the growth of the art form through masterclasses and educational programs serving our local Wayne County youth. Cabaret 313 is seeking volunteer leaders to join its Board of Directors.
Board members at Cabaret 313 are not just figureheads; they are actively involved in organizational governance. We expect our board members to attend at least four of six bi-monthly board meetings, participate in at least one board committee, make a personal financial contribution, or raise at least $2500 annually. This commitment comes with the satisfaction of making a real difference in our community.
Our recent review of board skills, connections, and live experiences among current Board members has highlighted areas where we could benefit from new perspectives. We are particularly interested in applications from individuals with fund development, accounting, marketing, and media expertise and those connected to local foundations, corporations, cultural organizations, and advocacy. Your unique skills and connections could help us broaden our current board and impact our community more through music.
