Detroit, MI – August 26, 2024 – Cabaret 313 is excited to announce the appointment of Lulu Fall as its new Executive Director. Lulu brings a wealth of experience as a multi-disciplinary artist, known for her impressive work on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in Detroit’s theater scene. Her new role at Cabaret 313 is made possible through Cabaret 313’s partnership with ArtOps, an organization that provides a full range of services to Arts nonprofits, helping them meet their organizational needs so they can focus on creative expression.
Lulu Fall has performed in Broadway productions such as HAIR, Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, and the unique *Skittles: The Musical* featuring Michael C. Hall. Her off-Broadway credits include roles in *Hadestown*, *This Ain’t No Disco*, and *Wild Goose Dreams*. Here in Detroit, she captivated audiences in the world premiere of *Hastings Street* and earned a Wilde Award for Best Supporting Actress in *Passing Strange*. Beyond the stage, Lulu is also an award-winning songwriter and visual artist, with a discography of six albums and several abstract art pieces featured at the Kresge Arts Foundation headquarters.
Her deep passion for the arts, coupled with her commitment to fostering the future of Cabaret 313, makes her an ideal fit for this leadership role.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lulu Fall to the Cabaret 313 family. Her diverse artistic talents and passion for the arts align perfectly with our mission. We are excited to see how her collaboration with our Board and Artistic Director and Co-founder, Allan Nachman, will continue to elevate the cabaret experience here in Detroit. We look forward to an inspiring future together,” said Edward Eickhoff, President of Cabaret 313.
Lulu Fall’s appointment comes as Cabaret 313 enters its 12th season, themed ‘Celebrating Cabaret’s Range,’ featuring performances by some of the most talented artists in the industry. Under her leadership, alongside the guidance of the Board, the organization looks forward to expanding its reach and deepening its impact on the cultural landscape of Detroit.
