Ari Axelrod is an award-winning Broadway actor, singer, and Jewish activist whose work celebrates the rich intersection of Broadway, Jewish identity, and cultural storytelling. He is the recipient of The New York Jewish Week’s 36 to Watch Award, recognizing him as one of the most influential Jewish voices in the United States. Ari is a recipient of The Anti-Defamation League’s inaugural Hero Against Hate award. Ari was the 2024 recipient of The Mabel Mercer Foundation’s prestigious Julie Wilson Award, and the 2022 recipient of The Bistro Award for Best Theatrical Artistry in Song. Ari is the creator and star of the acclaimed solo-show A Place for Us: A Celebration of Jewish Broadway, which has toured more than 30 cities worldwide and played multiple sold-out engagements at 54 Below, Birdland Jazz Club, Westport Country Playhouse, Bay Street Theatre, and beyond.
