Broadway veterans Chelsea and Geoff Packard invite audiences behind the curtain for an evening of unforgettable music and personal stories from life on and off the stage. Together, they have appeared in productions ranging from Wicked, Beautiful, and Hands on a Hardbody to Bandstand, Matilda, Rock of Ages, and The Phantom of the Opera. Now leading the next generation of performers at the University of Michigan, the husband-and-wife duo share favorite songs from their careers, backstage memories, and the joy of making a life in the theater. Warm, witty, and deeply personal, this is Broadway at its most intimate.

Chelsea Packard is a Broadway performer, educator, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan. Her Broadway credits include Wicked, Beautiful, Hands on a Hardbody, Promises, Promises, and New York Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. She has toured nationally with Kristin Chenoweth and Wicked, appeared on NBC’s Smash, performed with the GRAMMY-nominated Broadway Inspirational Voices, and originated the role of “Woman 2” in Pasek and Paul’s Edges. A sought-after voice teacher, Chelsea has worked with organizations including Joffrey Ballet and Broadway Classroom and continues to mentor the next generation of musical theatre performers.
Geoff Packard is an award-winning Broadway actor and Associate Professor of Theatre & Drama at the University of Michigan. His Broadway credits include Bandstand, Matilda, Rock of Ages, and The Phantom of the Opera, in addition to the first national tour of Wicked. He has performed with many of the nation’s leading regional theatres, including The Old Globe, Arena Stage, Goodman Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and Goodspeed Opera House. Geoff is the recipient of Joseph Jefferson, Helen Hayes, and IRNE Awards for Leading Actor in a Musical and co-directs The Broadway Intensive with his wife, Chelsea.
