Joshua Henry most recently starred as Billy Bigelow in Scott Rudin’s Broadway revival of Carousel. Previous to that role, he played Aaron Burr in the national touring production of Hamilton. He began the role in Chicago before moving to San Francisco and ending in Los Angeles. On his turn as Burr, Entertainment Weekly wrote “Undoubtedly, this production, stellar as it is, belongs to its would-be villain Aaron Burr. . . no one will play this role better.” After graduation from the University of Miami he made his professional acting debut as Judas in a regional production in Godspell, going on to join the ensemble of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s first original musical, In the Heights, off-Broadway, later joining it on Broadway.
